As usual, we have had a very busy week.
Some of our children in Carle have been creating some wonderful pictures using fruit.


In PDW, we have been exploring the life journeys of people with different worldviews and faiths. One of the events a Christian might take part in in their lifetime is a baptism. Without knowing, I demonstrated this through the Coca Cola and a dirty penny - check back next week for what happens to the dirty penny!
In Science, we have been dissecting flowers - how cool!






This week started with a bang as we celebrated our KS2 Sports Day - it was such a lovely event!
In Maths, we have been applying our understanding of fractions to decimals. Not only are we able to convert fractions to decimals, but can also apply this to centimetres and millimetres.

In Writing, we have started our newest book - Odd and the Frost Giants. Staying on theme, we have created our own Nordic mythical god or goddess. Here are some examples:
