Ofsted and Performance Information
Below you will find links and information regarding inspections and performance. As a Church of England school, Ashleigh has two types of inspection: Ofsted and SIAMS. Our results from statutory testing and assessments can also be found by following the relevant links.
A SIAMS inspection focuses on the impact of the Church school's Christian vision on pupils and adults. This involves looking at the school’s Christian vision, the provision the school makes because of this vision and how effective this provision is in enabling all pupils to flourish. We had our most recent inspection in January 2020. You can read the full report further down this page but below are some key quotes.
'Ashleigh primary school is a shining example of Christian love and care in action.'
'Parents are delighted with the care and support given to their children and, when needed, to families. They recognise the significance of the vision because of the way in which the values are demonstrated in actions; lives are being transformed here.'
'The recently re-vamped curriculum is inventive, lively and includes encouragement for pupils and staff to tackle big questions at every opportunity. They are indeed ‘loving to learn.’'
Ofsted inspect the quality of education at all maintained schools. As a new Academy, Ashleigh has yet to receive its first inspection.
